Cloud, sweet cloud: Feeling at home with serverless decision making using Kogito and Camel-K
  • Speaker(s):
    Daniele Zonca (Redhat); Edoardo Vacchi (Red Hat); Luca Burgazzoli (RedHat)
  • Session type:
    Breakout
  • Abstract:
    A lot of tiny devices produce a vast amount of diverse events. What is the most effective way to integrate and automate a complex decision based on those events? Today's hyperconnected world makes many data sources easily available to process, but these many sources of input may come from an assorted array of sensors, devices, and internet services, in a variety of shapes and forms.

    In this breakout session, you'll see a fun, home-automation demo and learn more about Kogito, Knative and Camel-K. Kogito is our vision for cloud-native intelligent applications—it's a lightweight runtime targeting container runtimes and serverless deployments. You'll:
    • Hear how Kogito is able to take advantage of Knative and Camel-K to integrate a number of data sources and take live elastic decisions.
    • Discover a wide range of capabilities.
    • Find out how to use them to their full extent: workflow orchestration, rule-based AI, and predictive AI.
